Local Area Neighborhood Watch Program Meeting

As of 01/30/10, postponed due to weather

Meeting Date: Saturday January 30th, 2010
Meeting Time: 2PM
Meeting Location: Lowes Island Elementary School Library
Duration: About 1 1/2 hours

Westerley HOA wants to let you know about the Introduction to Neighborhood Watch program that the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is putting together. This meeting has been organized by the Sugarland Run District Representative for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors.

Introduction to Neighborhood Watch is a program that allows potential watch members to better understand the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Neighborhood Watch Program. This class covers crime psychology, prevention techniques, program goals and objectives, getting a program started, accessing educational and informational resources, and many more program-related subjects.

We would like everyone in the community to be part of the Neighborhood Watch Program, because it is such an effective crime prevention tool.

If you are interested in improving the Neighborhood Watch Program here in Westerley or even if you just want more information, this is the meeting for you. This will be the opportunity to speak directly with the representatives from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Crime Prevention Unit who manage the program and conduct the educational and awareness efforts.
